Water/Wastewater Project Engineer

About this role

Apex Companies seeks a Project Engineer to support water supply and wastewater design projects in New England on a hybrid basis from the Quincy, MA office. You'll prepare technical documents, lead design tasks, conduct fieldwork, and collaborate with senior staff while developing expertise in water infrastructure and relevant regulations.

What you'll do

• Prepare technical memoranda, reports, calculations, designs, drawings, and permit applications
• Assist Project Managers with scheduling, budgeting, and progress reporting
• Serve as Lead Designer on less complex projects or discrete tasks
• Conduct fieldwork including surveying, infrastructure inspections, and construction observation
• Perform quality control reviews of calculations and design concepts
• Provide technical input to proposals and assist with client presentations
