Data Engineer

About this role

Apify seeks a Data Engineer in Prague to own the integration layer between Snowflake and operational tools (HubSpot, Intercom, Mixpanel, Segment). You'll design and maintain reliable pipelines, implement the CDP rollout, and ensure data flows accurately to support Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product teams.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end integrations between Snowflake and HubSpot, Intercom, Mixpanel, and Segment including pipelines and transformations
• Design event tracking and CDP architecture as Segment becomes the source of truth for behavioral data
• Build observable, reliable pipelines in Keboola and dbt with data contracts, testing, and alerting
• Model integration data in Snowflake with well-defined tables and documentation for downstream consumers
• Enable lifecycle automations by shipping data for PQA scores, behavioral campaigns, and product usage signals
• Diagnose and resolve pipeline incidents independently, tracing lineage and creating runbooks

• SQL (window functions, CTEs, complex joins, query optimization)
• Python for pipeline logic beyond no-code tools
• Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouse (BigQuery, Databricks, Redshift)
• Orchestration/ELT platforms (Keboola, Fivetran, Airflow, Dagster, Prefect, Matillion)
• dbt for transformations
• CDP experience (Segment, RudderStack, mParticle)
• Reverse ETL tools and CRM write-back patterns
• Data contracts, SLA definition, and stakeholder communication
