About this role

Apify seeks a Support Engineer for evening/night shifts (5 PM–2 AM CET) to handle customer inquiries via chat and email on their web scraping platform. You'll resolve both technical and business issues while gaining expertise in the Apify ecosystem, with potential to expand coverage to American timezones.

What you'll do

  • Respond to customer questions and internal notifications via Intercom, email, and Slack
  • Troubleshoot technical issues including API/SDK integration and Actor-related problems
  • Assist with business inquiries such as billing, subscription plans, and feature explanations
  • Process internal notifications related to billing and fraud prevention
  • Contribute to process automation, knowledge base expansion, and support improvements
  • Cover weekend and holiday shifts as support coverage expands

What they're looking for

  • Customer support experience (1–2 years ideally in SaaS)
  • Programming knowledge and familiarity with HTML/CSS/JavaScript
  • Clear written communication and ability to explain complex concepts
  • Strong English language proficiency
  • Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Customer service orientation
  • Comfort with evening/night work schedules
  • Interest in technology and web scraping platforms
