Consultant (Software Implementation, Public Sector)

About this role

Appian seeks a Software Implementation Consultant to partner with public sector customers on post-sales engagements, designing and deploying custom applications on the Appian platform. You'll guide clients through the full software development lifecycle, integrate AI-powered solutions, and ensure successful adoption of digital transformation initiatives.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and implement custom software solutions using the Appian platform for public sector clients
• Gather business process requirements and technical specifications through client collaboration
• Build and launch relational data models, APIs, and system integrations in production environments
• Identify and implement AI use cases leveraging RAG, agentic workflows, and generative models
• Work within agile teams through sprints, pair programming, and iterative development cycles
• Drive client adoption by enabling teams to independently build process applications
