Consultant (Top Secret Clearance, Software Implementation)

About this role

Appian seeks a Consultant to deliver custom software solutions on their platform for government clients requiring Top Secret clearance. You'll guide clients through the full software development lifecycle, implementing digital transformations and AI-powered applications while working in an agile, collaborative environment.

What you'll do

• Partner with clients post-sales to design, develop, and deploy custom software solutions on the Appian platform
• Gather business process requirements and technical specifications from clients
• Build AI use cases leveraging RAG, agentic workflows, prompt engineering, and generative models
• Develop APIs and integrations with multiple enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, and JDBC
• Work in agile sprints with cross-functional teams and client technical staff
• Enable client self-sufficiency by training users on building process applications independently
