About this role

Applied Intuition seeks a Hardware Integration Engineer to deploy and support autonomous mining systems at customer sites. You'll own fleet reliability, manage vehicle builds from prototype through field operations, and serve as the technical expert for our autonomous platform across mechanical, electrical, and software integration.

What you'll do

  • Deploy integrated autonomous systems onto mining and construction vehicles at customer sites
  • Own fleet reliability and troubleshoot system issues as first line of triage
  • Design, prototype, and install proof-of-concept autonomous systems and sensors
  • Lead vehicle build-out, final testing, and shakedown from prototype to operations handoff
  • Design and build test benches to validate mechanical, electrical, embedded, and software systems
  • Develop technical documentation for vehicle integration procedures and assembly processes

  • AV sensor integration (Lidar, Radar, Camera)
  • Low-volume manufacturing and off-road vehicle experience
  • CAD/SolidWorks design
  • Shop equipment operation and automotive diagnostics
  • Mechanical troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Assembly documentation and technical writing
  • Python, ROS, Linux (nice to have)
