About this role
Applied Intuition seeks a Robotic Software Engineer to design and integrate autonomy systems for defense and commercial drone platforms. You'll deploy algorithms across simulation and live flight environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver hardware-software solutions for unmanned aerial vehicles.
What you'll do
- Integrate and deploy autonomy software onto embedded Linux platforms and UAV hardware, including sensors and autopilot systems
- Develop modular autonomy capabilities for defense applications across diverse vehicle platforms
- Conduct system-level testing and validation in SIL, HIL, and live flight test environments
- Troubleshoot complex integration issues to ensure reliability and performance of autonomous systems
- Support live flight testing of autonomy software on Group 1-5 unmanned aerial vehicles
- Collaborate with DoD experts and OEM vendors on autonomy software integration
