Electrical Engineer

About this role

Apptronik seeks an Electrical Engineer to design and develop electronics for Apollo, a humanoid robot platform. You'll work on mixed-signal PCB design, rapid prototyping, validation testing, and cross-functional collaboration to bring cutting-edge robotics to market.

What you'll do

• Design, simulate, implement, and test multi-layer mixed-signal PCBAs
• Prototype electrical systems and conduct rapid iteration at system and board levels
• Generate comprehensive design documentation including schematics, block diagrams, and test procedures
• Collaborate with software, mechanical, thermal, and manufacturing teams
• Execute validation testing and design test fixtures to ensure compliance with performance and regulatory standards
• Debug hardware and software defects and provide ongoing support for existing designs

What they're looking for

• PCB design and prototyping using Altium or similar CAD tools
• Mixed-signal circuit design and electronics simulation (LTSpice, PSpice)
• Hardware debugging and troubleshooting
• Lab equipment operation and hands-on testing
• Technical documentation and communication
• Problem-solving and first-principle thinking
• Experience with embedded systems
• Knowledge of regulatory standards (FCC, CE, UL)
