About this role
Arc is seeking an Electrical Integration Engineer to support production of electric marine vessels in their Torrance, CA headquarters. You'll troubleshoot electrical systems on the manufacturing floor, drive continuous improvement, and collaborate across engineering and production teams to scale robust electrical designs from prototype to volume production.
What you'll do
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues through hands-on testing and data acquisition, collaborating with software and controls teams
- Support production floor daily by resolving harness, integration, and build problems with manufacturing teams
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring production and field issues
- Partner with technicians to optimize installation methods, routing, tooling, and work instructions
- Coordinate with external harness suppliers on design, quality, engineering changes, and production readiness
- Develop and improve test procedures for harness validation, continuity testing, hipot, and end-of-line verification

- Production environment troubleshooting and issue resolution
- Electrical schematics, formboards, and engineering drawing interpretation
- Harness building, reworking, and repair experience
- Connector, terminal, crimp, and wire selection and tooling knowledge
- Vehicle electrical systems and communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
- Electrical testing tools (multimeters, scopes, standard diagnostic equipment)
- EMI/EMC mitigation in vehicles
- Cross-functional communication between engineering and production
