Archer, an aerospace company developing electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft, seeks a Design Data Integrity Engineer to serve as a quality gatekeeper for engineering drawings and CAD models. This role ensures all design data meets drafting standards, GD&T requirements, and regulatory compliance before release to manufacturing. You'll collaborate across multiple engineering disciplines to maintain design accuracy and support producibility.

What you'll do

  • Review and verify engineering drawings and CAD models against ASME standards and company specifications
  • Identify and document errors, inconsistencies, and missing information in design data before release
  • Validate CAD model accuracy and metadata, ensuring drawings reflect design intent and manufacturability
  • Support PLM system drawing release processes and coordinate with Configuration Management on impact changes
  • Perform tolerance stack-up and interface checks to ensure fit, form, and function integrity
  • Provide feedback to design engineers and contribute to process improvements for drawing quality

  • ASME Y14.5 Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) expertise
  • CAD proficiency (NX, CATIA, CREO, or equivalent)
  • PLM systems experience (Teamcenter, Windchill, Enovia)
  • Engineering drawing interpretation and model-based definition
  • Tolerance analysis and configuration management concepts
  • Attention to detail and discrepancy identification in complex design data
