What you'll do

  • Design, analyze, and test EMI filters; provide guidance on component selection, board layout, and grounding strategies
  • Perform circuit and finite element simulations for emissions, susceptibility, ESD, and lightning strike scenarios
  • Deliver EMC recommendations to engineering teams on PCB layout, cable shielding, enclosure design, and grounding
  • Collaborate with EMC test engineers to design and certify products for DO-160G and MIL 461G standards
  • Engage with external EMC test labs for aircraft-level and pre-compliance/compliance testing
  • Provide detailed technical inputs on value selection and component orientation for filter designs
