Subscale Engineer

About this role

Archer, an aerospace company developing all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft, seeks a Subscale Engineer to design, build, and test subscale aircraft prototypes. You'll develop test plans, conduct flight campaigns, and collaborate across engineering teams to advance sustainable air mobility technology.

What you'll do

• Build, maintain, and operate subscale aircraft for testing purposes
• Develop and execute ground, flight, and component-level test plans with cross-functional engineering teams
• Schedule and manage test campaigns from planning through completion
• Conduct and lead flight briefs and debriefs for test operations
• Document and communicate test results to stakeholders
• Fabricate small unmanned aircraft systems
