Arlo, a health insurance startup using AI to reduce healthcare costs, seeks an AI Forward Deployed Engineer to embed within operational teams and build AI agents, copilots, and automation systems that transform workflows across underwriting, claims, and member support. You'll work directly with business teams to identify bottlenecks and deploy production-ready AI solutions that drive measurable operational efficiency.

What you'll do

• Embed with operational teams to understand workflows and identify automation opportunities
• Build AI underwriting agents and claims automation systems
• Create internal copilots for support and care navigation teams
• Extract structure from healthcare documentation using AI
• Deploy retrieval and evaluation systems for operational reliability
• Replace manual back-office workflows with AI-native tooling
