About this role
Armada seeks a Data Center Constructability Engineer to ensure modular data center designs (Galleon and Leviathan products) are buildable and deployable efficiently across global sites. You'll bridge product engineering with field execution, developing standardized construction playbooks and validating deployment methodologies from design through commissioning.
What you'll do
- Review MDC and site designs across all disciplines for constructability issues and feed feedback into product development before designs are finalized
- Validate deployment methodologies including crane selection, access, sequencing, tolerances, and fit-up for candidate and active sites worldwide
- Develop repeatable construction playbooks and methods of procedure to standardize site execution across single-unit and campus-scale deployments
- Lead constructability analysis including crane/lift studies, transport logistics, and installation sequencing for new products and first-of-a-kind sites
- Serve as constructability liaison between product/engineering teams and fabricators, general contractors, and delivery partners
- Review design packages and shop drawings to ensure field-constructability alignment
What they're looking for
- Constructability engineering and design review
- Modular construction and prefabrication experience
- Crane planning and heavy lifting analysis
- Civil and structural design understanding
- Project sequencing and logistics planning
