About this role

Armada seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design and own the hydronic distribution system for modular liquid-cooled data centers, managing piping, valves, instrumentation, and interconnects across primary and secondary cooling loops. This hands-on role bridges concept through manufacturing, installation, and field operation while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.

What you'll do

  • Design and own hydronic distribution architecture for primary water and secondary PG25 cooling loops
  • Develop piping, valves, instrumentation, module interconnects, and serviceability strategies
  • Ensure systems are repeatable, commissionable, maintainable, and scalable across multiple deployments
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, OEMs, fabricators, controls, manufacturing, and commissioning leads
  • Manage transition from concept design through manufacturing, field installation, startup, and long-term operation
  • Standardize mechanical distribution layer for robust real-world deployment
