Forward Deployed Engineer

About this role

Join Artisan as a Forward Deployed Engineer to serve as the technical bridge between our AI employee platform and strategic customers. You'll combine engineering expertise with customer collaboration to implement integrations, scope solutions, and drive adoption across our TypeScript stack.

What you'll do

• Scope customer requirements and design how Ava integrates with existing sales tech stacks
• Build customer-specific features and integrations using TypeScript across full-stack codebase
• Lead end-to-end implementations from pre-sales through expansion, partnering with customer success
• Travel to customer sites for discovery sessions, technical onboarding, and in-person engagement (up to 50%)
• Provide technical expertise on sales calls to close complex deals and establish credibility
• Gather customer insights and feedback to inform product roadmap and engineering priorities

What they're looking for

• TypeScript (Node.js, React, or similar frameworks)
• Solutions engineering or field engineering experience
• CRM and sales tech integration (Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach)
• Technical communication with non-technical and technical audiences
• Problem scoping and solution architecture in ambiguous situations
• Full-stack development
• Sales enablement and RevOps collaboration
• Fast execution and shipping mindset
