Design Engineer, EU

About this role

Ashby seeks a Design Engineer to tackle complex product design challenges while writing production code. This role combines UI/UX design with full-stack engineering on a product used by over 100,000 weekly active users, requiring excellence in both disciplines rather than specialization in one.

What you'll do

• Design and implement solutions for complex product challenges across the platform
• Develop and enhance the in-house design system with flexible, reusable components
• Consult with product engineers on design improvements and bespoke UI work
• Conduct customer research and user feedback gathering to inform design decisions
• Build and ship polished features end-to-end from wireframes to implementation
• Collaborate with leadership to shape the UI/UX of a powerful, complex SaaS product
