About this role

Assembled seeks a Sales Engineer in NYC to drive technical sales for their AI and human agent orchestration platform. You'll own complex deals from discovery through closure, design POCs and demos, and collaborate cross-functionally to solve customer challenges in support operations.

What you'll do

  • Lead technical discovery and design custom solutions that address customer requirements using Assembled's platform
  • Execute proofs of concept, technical evaluations, and custom demos showcasing product differentiation
  • Own RFP/RFI responses and security questionnaires, positioning company strengths strategically
  • Develop expertise in workforce management and support operations to anticipate customer needs
  • Build internal tools, scalable demos, and sales enablement resources
  • Hit quarterly sales targets in a high-growth environment

What they're looking for

  • Sales engineering or solutions architecture (3-5 years SaaS experience)
  • Technical knowledge of APIs, cloud services (AWS), integrations, and web technologies
  • Complex technical deal closing and sales target achievement
  • Clear communication of complex concepts to technical and executive audiences
  • Independent work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
  • Workforce management or contact center operations knowledge (bonus)
  • Hands-on coding and rapid prototyping (bonus)
  • Startup or high-growth company experience (bonus)
