Software Engineer - Platform

About this role

Assembled seeks an experienced platform engineer to build foundational systems powering its AI-enabled customer support platform. You'll work on infrastructure, data platforms, and integrations that support both real-time operations and analytical workloads at enterprise scale.

What you'll do

• Design and evolve scalable application infrastructure for reliable, efficient product delivery
• Build integrations platform and connectors that ingest data from customer systems
• Develop data transformation systems that power metrics, reporting, and analytics
• Support both low-latency operational workflows and heavy analytical processing
• Collaborate across teams to align platform work with product and business impact
• Establish system abstractions, boundaries, and architectural tradeoffs

• Backend or platform systems engineering (5+ years)
