Condition Monitoring Engineer

About this role

AssetWatch seeks an experienced Condition Monitoring Engineer to analyze vibration and temperature data from industrial equipment, develop predictive maintenance solutions, and guide customers toward optimal asset health. This role combines field data collection with software development to expand the company's condition monitoring capabilities across multiple diagnostic methods.

What you'll do

• Collect and analyze vibration and temperature data at client sites to identify maintenance needs
• Perform detailed machinery health evaluations using vibration data analysis and engineering assessments
• Develop software models and programs to enhance the vibration data analysis library
• Provide actionable insights to clients, including alarm threshold recommendations within analytical tools
• Accompany installation teams and recommend sensor placement for machinery monitoring
• Collaborate with product development to create expanded hardware and software solutions

• Vibration data collection and analysis using FFT analyzers
• Predictive/preventative maintenance software expertise
• Electro-mechanical fundamentals and industrial equipment knowledge
• Software modeling and programming
• ISO Category II vibration certification (or higher)
• Microsoft Office Suite and PC applications
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Customer-focused problem solving
