Condition Monitoring Engineer

About this role

AssetWatch seeks an experienced Condition Monitoring Engineer to analyze vibration and temperature data from industrial machinery, generate actionable insights for predictive maintenance, and help expand the company's monitoring capabilities. This role bridges field data collection with software development in a remote-first startup environment.

What you'll do

• Collect and analyze vibration and temperature data at client sites to determine maintenance needs
• Perform vibration data analysis and software modeling to process equipment condition information
• Evaluate machinery health through detailed vibration data assessment and recommend corrective actions
• Develop and expand software programs to enhance vibration data analysis capabilities
• Guide hardware installation teams on sensor placement and collaborate with product development on solutions
• Lead growth of predictive maintenance tools and expand expertise beyond vibration to ultrasonic and fluid analysis

What they're looking for

• Vibration data collection and analysis using FFT analyzers
• Predictive and preventative maintenance software proficiency
• ISO Category II vibration certification (or higher)
• Electro-mechanical fundamentals and industrial equipment knowledge
• Software modeling and programming
• Analyzer operation for vibration spectra and waveforms
• Microsoft Office Suite and PC applications
• Strong communication and customer service skills
