Security & Trust Engineer
About this role
AssetWatch seeks a Security & Trust Engineer to manage day-to-day security operations, lead customer trust conversations, and advance SOC 2 compliance. You'll balance customer-facing security questionnaires with hands-on engineering across endpoints, identity, vulnerability management, and incident response in a cloud-first Microsoft environment.
What you'll do
- Serve as technical security contact on customer calls, addressing security architecture, compliance, and trust concerns
- Own end-to-end responses to security questionnaires (SIG, CAIQ, RFP sections) with 2-day triage target
- Administer SOC 2 Type 2 compliance program using Vanta, manage evidence, and support annual audits
- Manage CrowdStrike Falcon EDR, Entra ID identity controls, and Intune security baselines
- Own vulnerability scanning, prioritization, remediation tracking, and security awareness training (KnowBe4)
- Support incident response investigations, vendor security reviews, and threat monitoring (phishing, credential exposure)
