Join Astranis as a CAD Engineer/Librarian Intern this Fall to design spacecraft components and manage engineering libraries for advanced satellite systems. This 12-week hourly role offers hands-on experience with real hardware that launches to space, with potential for conversion to full-time employment.
What you'll do
- Model and draw spacecraft components, structures, and manifolds using CAD software
- Maintain and enhance the design library and data infrastructure
- Develop documentation and best practices for efficient design workflows
- Support the engineering team on complex assembly and component design

- SolidWorks proficiency
- GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Engineering drawings interpretation
- Mechanical/aerospace design fundamentals
- Complex assembly design (bonus)
