Join Astranis' Guidance, Navigation, and Control team as a 12-week intern to design, build, and test satellite software and hardware for high-orbit spacecraft. This is a hands-on opportunity to contribute to real space technology while gaining experience at a well-funded satellite communications company.

What you'll do

  • Design and develop satellite control software and hardware components
  • Collaborate with the GNC engineering team on spacecraft systems
  • Build and test solutions from concept to implementation
  • Contribute to projects deployed on operational satellites
  • Participate in system integration and validation activities

  • Control theory and estimation methods
  • Python and/or C/C++ programming
  • Orbital mechanics knowledge
  • Spacecraft design fundamentals
  • Hardware/software prototyping and testing
  • Problem-solving and independent project execution
