About this role
Astranis is seeking a Product Security Engineer to build and secure web applications for their satellite communications platform. You'll embed security throughout the development lifecycle, conduct code reviews and penetration testing, and guide engineering teams on secure coding practices.
What you'll do
- Perform security code reviews and penetration testing on web applications and services
- Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments to identify and prioritize application vulnerabilities
- Provide secure coding guidance and support to development teams
- Collaborate with teams during design phase to build secure systems
- Design and implement technical solutions to address identified security risks
- Serve as security champion within software development teams
