About this role
Astranis seeks a propulsion engineering intern for a 12-week paid internship to contribute to satellite propulsion system design, analysis, and testing. You'll work on meaningful hardware projects with potential for your work to launch into space, gaining hands-on experience applying aerospace concepts in a real-world satellite company environment.
What you'll do
- Design, analyze, build, and test propulsion system hardware components
- Collaborate on interdisciplinary projects supporting propulsion and company initiatives
- Apply academic knowledge to spacecraft propulsion engineering challenges
- Conduct hardware testing and validation for propulsion systems
- Contribute to propulsion team efforts on active satellite development projects
