About this role

A-TEK seeks a Federal AI Solutions Engineer to design and deploy mission-critical AI solutions on AWS and Azure, leveraging LLMs and agentic frameworks. This role combines hands-on engineering with technical leadership, supporting rapid prototyping, platform development, and delivery team escalations while ensuring compliance with federal standards.

What you'll do

  • Design and deploy agentic AI pilots using frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, and CrewAI, integrated with cloud services and enterprise data sources
  • Build and maintain AWS and Azure environments with infrastructure-as-code, container services, and secure networking for rapid development
  • Create reusable accelerators, starter kits, templates, and reference architectures for internal use
  • Serve as technical escalation point for delivery teams on cloud migrations, AI integration, vector databases, RAG pipelines, and CI/CD workflows
  • Ensure all solutions comply with NIST AI RMF, FedRAMP, Zero Trust, and responsible AI practices with proper logging and monitoring
  • Collaborate with Centers of Excellence, architects, and program teams to document patterns and expand technical knowledge base

  • Python software development (3–5 years hands-on experience)
  • AWS and Azure cloud platforms with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CDK, Bicep)
  • LLM frameworks and agentic AI architectures (LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel)
  • Vector databases and RAG pipeline implementation
  • Container orchestration (ECS, EKS, AKS)
  • Federal compliance standards (NIST AI RMF, FedRAMP, Zero Trust)
  • Cloud migrations and microservices architecture
  • CI/CD and automation frameworks
