Federal AI Solutions Engineer (Entry Level)

About this role

A-TEK seeks an entry-level AI Solutions Engineer to design and deploy AI-powered applications and cloud solutions for federal clients using AWS and Azure. The role combines AI/ML development with cloud engineering, supporting mission-focused projects in a hybrid McLean, VA environment.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and deploy AI applications using AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, and frameworks like LangChain and LlamaIndex
• Build and maintain cloud infrastructure in AWS and Azure using Infrastructure-as-Code tools
• Develop prompt engineering strategies and retrieval-augmented generation workflows
• Support CI/CD implementation and containerized deployments on ECS, EKS, or AKS
• Collaborate with senior engineers on prototyping, troubleshooting, and creating reusable templates
• Implement security and compliance solutions aligned with NIST AI RMF, FedRAMP, and Zero Trust principles
