About this role
Atomic Semi seeks an Automation Software Engineering Intern to develop real-time control software for semiconductor fabrication equipment. You'll work on an interdisciplinary team building custom robotics and automation systems, with significant ownership over mission-critical projects in a fast-paced startup environment.
What you'll do
- Develop real-time applications in Linux and Rust for controlling fabrication equipment
- Design algorithms and simulations for robotic control systems
- Work on initiatives that scale and accelerate semiconductor fabrication processes
- Tackle problems improving robot efficiency and performance
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and hardware engineers on integrated projects
