About this role

Atomic Semi seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to own the complete electrical hardware development for custom semiconductor fabrication equipment, from initial concept through production. You'll design and build control systems for lithography tools, deposition systems, and precision motion platforms, working autonomously within a small team of exceptional engineers founded by industry pioneers.

What you'll do

  • Lead end-to-end PCBA and electrical system design including schematic capture, layout, testing, and documentation
  • Collaborate with software, mechanical, and process teams to define system requirements and specifications
  • Perform circuit analysis and simulations to evaluate design approaches and optimize component selection
  • Develop and execute plans for complex hardware challenges, transitioning designs from prototype to production
  • Conduct hands-on testing and troubleshooting using lab instrumentation
  • Support production integration and documentation of finished electrical systems
