Mechanical Engineer

About this role

Atomic Semi is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Engineer to design and build specialized equipment for semiconductor fabrication. You'll work in a fast-paced environment where designs are prototyped and tested in weeks, not months, owning the complete engineering process from conception to production-ready systems.

What you'll do

• Design and iterate on machines and subsystems for semiconductor packaging fabrication
• Create mechanical designs including frames, components, and assemblies
• Integrate mechanical, electrical, and optical components in system assembly
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve fabrication processes and equipment
• Source components and materials while working with vendors to meet specifications
