Software Engineer II, Strategic Integrations

Join Attentive's Strategic Integrations team to architect a modern integrations platform that evolves the company from SMS-first to true omni-channel marketing. You'll lead system quality improvements, migrate legacy integrations safely, and build developer infrastructure that enables faster, more reliable partner integrations at scale.

What you'll do

• Design and build reusable engineering frameworks and libraries to standardize integration delivery and reduce one-off solutions
• Plan and execute incremental migrations of existing integrations to new platform models while maintaining backwards compatibility
• Develop end-to-end data traceability and visibility tools so engineers and customers can debug integration health quickly
• Improve contract safety through vendor payload fixtures, contract tests, and generated models to reduce manual testing
• Build resilient patterns for handling vendor API failures, rate-limiting, and contract changes
• Partner with downstream teams to establish paved paths and canonical models for integration engineers
