Forward Deployed Engineer

About this role

August is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to lead end-to-end deployments of their AI-powered legal services platform at law firms. You'll own integrations with enterprise legal tools, build scalable deployment infrastructure, and debug complex production issues while helping transform how legal work is delivered.

What you'll do

• architect, build, and ship complete deployments into law firm production environments
• develop integrations with legal platforms (iManage, NetDocs, SharePoint, Outlook, Word) and implement SSO/SAML/OIDC authentication
• convert one-off deployment work into reusable platform modules, SDKs, and tooling
• debug and resolve live production issues, instrumentation, and data ingestion problems
• manage enterprise-scale integrations including tenant isolation and ingestion pipelines
• mentor subsequent deployments by extracting and hardening patterns from each engagement
