About this role

Avride seeks an experienced software engineer to develop localization and mapping systems for autonomous delivery robots. You'll design on-board localization algorithms and cloud-based SLAM mapping processes, enabling precise rover positioning in challenging environments.

What you'll do

  • Build cloud mapping subsystems using graph optimization techniques
  • Develop sensor fusion localization combining LiDAR, IMU, and GNSS data
  • Achieve centimeter-level position and 0.1-degree orientation accuracy
  • Improve localization reliability in difficult navigation scenarios
  • Support development and operations teams with localization expertise
