Electrical Engineer II, Video

About this role

Axon seeks an Electrical Engineer II to design and develop embedded video hardware for next-generation devices. You'll own mixed-signal circuit design, board bring-up, validation, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver reliable, manufacturable products used in safety and justice applications.

What you'll do

• Design and develop embedded mixed-signal circuits and subsystems for video, wired, and wireless products
• Create schematics in OrCAD integrating processors, memory, RF transceivers, power supplies, and sensors
• Collaborate with PCB design engineers on layout requirements and high-performance board implementation
• Perform hands-on bring-up, characterization, and debug using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers
• Analyze test data, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions for performance and reliability improvements
• Develop BOMs, design documentation, test plans, and support design verification through production phases
