Mission Engineer - Miami
About this role
Axon seeks a Mission Engineer to embed onsite with law enforcement agencies and drive operational transformation through hands-on platform builds. You'll own the full customer lifecycle—from discovering problems to shipping AI agents, workflows, and integrations that measurably improve mission outcomes, with ~3-4 days/week onsite presence.
What you'll do
- Discover agency pain points onsite and design buildable solutions using Axon's platform (AI Era, DEMS, Fusus, workflows, integrations)
- Build and deploy AI agents, automations, and data pipelines tailored to real operational needs with strict compliance (CJIS, evidence integrity)
- Drive hands-on adoption by iterating with end users until solutions stick in production, then document patterns for reuse
- Lead operational assessments, define success metrics, and conduct QBRs with agency leadership to measure mission impact
- Troubleshoot breaks onsite and coordinate root-cause resolution across Product, Engineering, Support, and Services teams
- Capture field intelligence and customer insights to influence product roadmap and identify account expansion opportunities
