About this role
Axon seeks a Mission Engineer to embed onsite with law enforcement agencies in the Orlando/Seminole County area, owning end-to-end customer outcomes by building and deploying AI-powered workflows, integrations, and operational solutions using Axon's platform. You'll combine technical expertise with operational leadership to drive measurable agency transformation, working approximately 3-4 days per week onsite in a flexible, mission-driven role.
What you'll do
- Design and ship AI agents, workflows, automations, and integrations directly on Axon's platform in the agency environment
- Discover agency operational problems onsite and translate them into compliant, buildable solutions tied to mission outcomes
- Drive hands-on adoption and iteration with daily users until solutions stick in production, measuring impact through usage and operational metrics
- Lead operational assessments, QBRs, and strategic planning with agency leadership; establish success baselines before major deployments
- Troubleshoot and coordinate root-cause resolution across Product, Engineering, Support, and Services when builds or integrations encounter issues
- Capture field intelligence on workflow patterns and adoption barriers; identify expansion opportunities and influence product roadmap decisions
