About this role
Babel Street seeks a Computer Vision AI Engineer to develop and deploy vision capabilities for intelligence applications, including facial matching, object detection, geolocation inference, and multimodal LLM integration. This hands-on role combines computer vision, image processing, and machine learning to solve real-world mission-driven problems with government and commercial partners.
What you'll do
- Develop and deploy computer vision systems for facial matching, object/scene understanding, and geolocation inference
- Build scalable, cost-efficient vision capabilities integrated with multimodal LLM systems
- Collaborate with AI, Product, and Engineering teams to deliver reliable vision solutions
- Extract, analyze, and reason over visual data for intelligence applications
- Integrate natural language search and reasoning capabilities over imagery
- Support end-to-end deployment of vision models to production environments
