Security Engineer

Backpack is seeking an experienced Security Engineer to lead their internal security program, manage bug bounty initiatives, and identify emerging vulnerabilities. This remote-eligible role offers significant equity for the right owner-minded candidate.

What you'll do

• Lead and oversee Backpack's internal security program
• Manage bug bounty programs and coordinate with external security researchers
• Identify and address state-of-the-art vulnerabilities proactively
• Develop and implement security best practices
• Assess and mitigate potential security risks
