About this role
Innovatum, a Banyan Software company serving life sciences and medical device industries, seeks a mid-level Application Support Engineer to provide technical support for enterprise customers running mission-critical software. You'll handle customer-facing troubleshooting, perform software installations and upgrades, and work with SQL databases to resolve production issues in a small, collaborative team.
What you'll do
- Serve as primary technical contact for enterprise customers, managing support cases from intake through resolution
- Troubleshoot application issues using logs, Windows Event Viewer, and system diagnostics
- Perform software installations, upgrades, and patches in customer environments
- Write and execute SQL queries to validate data, identify anomalies, and perform basic database maintenance
- Document troubleshooting steps and collaborate with engineering teams on escalations
- Assist with customer data migration projects as you gain familiarity with systems
