About this role
Baseten seeks an AI Solutions Engineer to partner with customers deploying production AI applications on their inference platform. You'll own end-to-end customer engagements from initial architecture through production, blending hands-on software engineering with product management and technical customer success.
What you'll do
- Design, build, and deploy high-scale production AI applications on Baseten's platform
- Own customer relationships from exploration through deployment, translating business goals into reliable services
- Develop and maintain production software systems primarily in Python
- Optimize AI/ML projects and contribute to product features and PRDs
- Rapidly turn vague objectives into clear specifications and tested solutions
- Navigate ambiguity and make sound technical tradeoffs while managing projects end-to-end
