About this role
Baseten seeks a senior Network Engineer to design and operate high-performance data center network infrastructure for GPU clusters, from fabric architecture to deployment and optimization. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to grow into technical leadership while directly impacting AI model training and inference performance.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end network architecture and topology design for data center clusters
- Select and evaluate switches, optics, and cabling systems
- Lead network deployment, validation, and performance testing
- Define standards for deploying networks across multiple sites
- Collaborate with hardware and platform teams on system-level performance
- Mentor team members and support technical growth
