Frontend Engineer

About this role

Baseten is looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to enhance user experiences on its AI platform. You will play a key role in development, collaborating with cross-functional teams to launch features that support AI system deployment and management.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain responsive frontend interfaces using React and TypeScript
• Collaborate with designers to create intuitive UIs
• Optimize application performance and reliability
• Lead frontend initiatives and work with backend teams on APIs
• Mentor other engineers on frontend best practices
• Build reusable component libraries

• 5+ years in web application development
• Expertise in React and TypeScript
• Strong UI performance and scalability skills
• Product intuition and user experience focus
• Experience with cross-functional teams
• Effective communication skills
• Familiarity with Tailwind CSS or Next.js
• Background in developer tools or data infrastructure
