GTM Engineer

About this role

Baseten seeks a GTM Engineer to design and ship AI-powered workflows that scale sales, marketing, and support operations. You'll audit their existing tool stack, own CRM enrichment strategy, and rapidly build custom solutions using both low-code platforms and AI coding assistants to give the team a competitive edge.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain CRM data enrichment strategy spanning account/contact quality, workflows, and data provider orchestration
• Audit GTM tool stack, identify gaps and redundancies, and self-generate prioritized backlog
• Build rep productivity workflows quickly—translating field requests into shipped solutions within days
• Make informed decisions on when to build custom AI solutions versus using point-and-click tools
• Design workflows with systems thinking to anticipate upstream/downstream implications
• Integrate third-party APIs and ensure reliable data flow across disparate systems

What they're looking for

• GTM Engineering or technical RevOps experience (3+ years)
• Clay expertise—deep familiarity with enrichment and workflow capabilities
• Salesforce data modeling and CRM-level implementation
• AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex)
• Integration platforms (n8n, Zapier, Make, Workato)
• APIs, webhooks, and system integration
• Build vs. buy decision-making judgment
• High-growth B2B SaaS experience
