Software Engineer - Frontend

About this role

Basic Capital, a fintech startup modernizing retirement savings, seeks a frontend engineer to build AI-powered user experiences across mobile and web platforms. You'll own the full product development lifecycle while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver features that help address wealth inequality.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain foundational architectures for iOS, Android, and web applications
• Develop and ship AI-enhanced features that improve user experience
• Oversee complete product lifecycle from design collaboration through deployment and monitoring
• Participate in architecture reviews, planning sessions, and code reviews across technology stack
• Collaborate with product managers and designers on product strategy
• Contribute across the tech stack as team needs evolve
