Infrastructure Engineer

About this role

Bayesian Health seeks an Infrastructure Engineer to design and maintain cloud infrastructure for a healthcare AI platform while building CI/CD pipelines that enable development teams to ship faster. You'll ensure scalability, reliability, and compliance with healthcare regulations while supporting the company's growth in clinical AI/ML products.

What you'll do

• Design cost-optimized, fault-tolerant AWS infrastructure that scales reliably as the client base expands
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub for automated testing and deployment with regulatory compliance
• Create infrastructure guidelines and Terraform modules to establish best practices across the organization
• Monitor system performance, apply upgrades, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure reliability
• Implement security controls aligned with HIPAA, HITRUST, and FDA requirements for sensitive healthcare data
• Architect an internal AI Ops platform to host and manage AI/ML agents for infrastructure optimization

What they're looking for

• AWS cloud infrastructure (5+ years production experience)
• Kubernetes and EKS cluster management
• Terraform and infrastructure-as-code
• PostgreSQL/MySQL administration and performance tuning
• CI/CD pipelines (CircleCI preferred)
• Datadog or similar observability tools
• PHI/PII data handling and healthcare compliance
• Cross-functional collaboration and communication
