Forward Deployed Engineer

About this role

Beacon Software seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with portfolio companies and build agentic software systems that directly improve operations. You'll identify high-leverage workflows, ship production systems, and compress learnings into reusable playbooks for the broader portfolio.

What you'll do

• Embed with portfolio companies to understand operating models and identify 2-3 high-impact workflows for automation
• Build and ship end-to-end agentic software solutions including integrations, prompts, evals, and UI surfaces
• Monitor deployed systems post-launch, tune performance, and hand off to portfolio operations teams
• Codify successful patterns into playbooks that accelerate deployments across similar companies
• Serve as the technical relationship owner with portfolio company GMs and operators
• Work full-stack across TypeScript, Python, React, and SQL to deliver complete solutions
