Bestow is seeking a skilled Software Engineer II to build and scale Go services that power their agent-facing pre-sales tools. This role is crucial for enabling insurance agents and partners to efficiently quote, configure, and submit applications. You'll collaborate closely with other teams, utilize AI coding tools, and contribute to a culture of automation and continuous improvement.

What you'll do

  • Develop and scale Go services for agent quoting, configuration, and application submission.
  • Partner with App & Checkout teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Address partner-specific issues and scale the system to handle increasing volume.
  • Write thorough unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
  • Support knowledge transfer through pairing and documentation, especially with a high contractor ratio.
  • Contribute to automation and CI/CD practices.
