BETA Technologies is seeking a versatile Mechanical Engineer to join their Ground Support Equipment (GSE) / Charge team and contribute to the development of innovative electric aviation charging systems. This role involves a mix of design work, including CAD modeling and technical drawings, alongside hands-on involvement in prototyping, testing, and production support. Successful candidates will thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, blending office-based tasks with shop floor engagement.
What you'll do
- Create and maintain 3D models, drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, Manufacturing, ERP)
- Develop new design concepts and implement existing design changes
- Manage the Technical Data Package (TDP) and Engineering Change Requests (ECRs)
- Support prototyping, testing, and shop floor activities
- Participate in design reviews and present to stakeholders
