About this role
BETA Technologies seeks a Tooling Engineer to design, develop, and continuously improve tooling and fixtures for their advanced composite manufacturing processes, contributing directly to the production of electric aircraft. What you'll do
- Design and release tooling, including molds and fixtures.
- Develop tooling concepts considering part geometry and manufacturing processes.
- Manage tooling from design through production and improvement.
- Provide design-for-manufacturability feedback to Design Engineering.
- Collaborate with technicians to resolve issues and improve tooling performance.
- Create and maintain tooling documentation and acceptance criteria.
